Description

What is color, and how do we see it?

How do optical illusions work?

What is the mathematics behind sound waves?

How do musical instruments vibrate, and how did this influence a TV show?

The class will be a mixture of lectures and projects, which will hopefully be inspired by student interest.  There will be significant mathematical content, but there will also be hands-on demonstrations and room for creativity!
